Special Instructions for PEOs using the Data File Upload Option

The data file uploaded by PEOs should include all of their current clients for 2019 and 2020 EEO-1 Component 1 reporting period, respectively.

If the PEO’s client list has changed since the 2018 EEO-1 Component 1 submission, PEOs should also submit a separate Excel file with a list of client deletions and additions since the 2018 submission.

PEOs should submit one Excel workbook separately for 2019 and 2020. Each Excel workbook should include two spreadsheets – one for additions (acquisitions) and one for deletions (spinoffs).

A sample file is available for illustration. Each spreadsheet should include the following variables:

  • Client Company Name
  • Client Company ID
  • Headquarters/Establishment Address
  • Associated Establishment Number
  • EIN
  • Federal Contractor Status (Y/N)

The Filer Support Team will update their client list the management system on behalf of the PEOs.
